The Michigan girl confessed to feeling a deep sense of loss, “I was really sad, and I didn’t really have any hope, but I started praying to God, and then it just happened,” said Addy.

Answering her prayers, Addy and her family made the arduous 15-hour journey from Michigan to North Carolina when word reached them that their beloved Cinnamon was found.

Sandy Greene, a community member, played a vital role in Cinnamon’s discovery. “I filled that trap full of prayer, filled it with food that Cinnamon liked, and the next morning, he was in the trap,” Greene recounted.

Andrea Jacobson, Addy’s mom, expressed profound gratitude for the supportive campground residents who helped make their family whole again.
“This past month-and-a-half has been really hard with the whole family, but the kids especially,” Andrea shared. “It just feels like we can get back to normal.”
